Ha! Love it dude! Yeah companies can really do a lot by just returning a ton of a capital. If you look at AMEX and it's revenue growth, vs net income, vs marketcap, verse share price it's wild. Revenue was like flat over a decade and a half. Net income up like 10%. Marketcap up like 100% but share price beat the market. So I'm totally totally with you on that. And yeah I mean I'm actually with you on all of that haha. I think there's evidence in the numbers themselves that Ulta has not been a struggling retailer and so it's likely that there is a competitive advantage there that will sustain. And I'm from the states I just live here in Europe and yeah we (she) goes to Rossman all the time. But it's nothing compared to Ulta. Ulta stores on the whole are pretty solid. My primary reason for selling was 1) I was concerned about competition in mass beauty 2) I figured I had achieved some quick and positive results and I sort of just made the call when the numbers were still with me. I still have Ulta on my watchlist though. It's the only company I've sold that I still keep an eye on. 20% is baddass haha. I'm bullish on Ulta. I think people don't understand the business and the product and it's just being thrown out with the bathwater of retail. If it drops below 350 again I'll probably take another swing. And if you hear they're making a big push into international, DM me haha.
I think the "marketplace" pivot will be a catalyst as well.

That's my sector.
Beauty? Tell me more
Yeah. Those are my sector's. Cosmetics and jewelry stores.
Any thoughts on Ulta?
Thanks for this. Great info and great writing. Funny. Keep us posted on Ulta.
